Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB

The best RAM boosts your PC performance. So choosing the right RMA for you is very important. In this post, I’m talking about Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB DDR5 RAM.

Configurations and Availability

The Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB has many variations, either DDR4 or DDR5. For DDR5, there are 6200 MHz with a latency of 36, 6400 MHz with a latency of 32, 5600 MHz with a latency of 36, and 5200 MHz with a latency of 40. 32GB (2x16GB) 5600MHz price come at $159.99.

Aesthetics of Corsair Dominator Platinum

CORSAIR DOMINATOR PLATINUM

Let’s talk aesthetics, these are my favorite-looking RGB sticks ever created. It will be hard to top this even in the future. They create a centerpiece for any RGB build with a unique RGB design, and the modes follow suit.

They are cool, one of my personal favorites is called “stack,” where each of the sticks stacks up like Tetris, kind of matching each other but also kind of random.

It is so awesome. The brightness on these is wild, lighting up a large amount of your case with RGB light from them alone. It’s pretty wild.

These are also 100% the most unique-looking RGB RAM sticks on the market with those square RGB, almost pixel-like designs. They are bright and vibrant and do pastel colors well.

They do white light perfectly. I mean, Corsair just destroyed everything else with these RAM sticks. I personally absolutely love the look of these.

As for the height, you better have an AIO because these are bulky. I think these are the biggest RAM sticks on the list, coming in at 56 mm. They are very tall and very bulky.

If you want these, you better have your area designated for them. Get yourself an AIO, and route the lines out of the way because you’re going to want to look at that RGB RAM.

RGB Controls and Compatibility

CORSAIR DOMINATOR

Now, regarding RGB controls and controls in general, classic Corsair—you have to use iCUE. That’s kind of a bad thing because it would be easier to use your motherboard software, but the benefit is there are so many super unique designs and modes.

The reactive mode is so good that it’s worth it for sure. Also, this has onboard voltage regulation as well as the ability to save XMP as for a warranty well it’s a limited lifetime warranty.

profiles for those who like to fine-tune their overclock settings. As for color options, it comes in either black or white.

Performance and Overclocking

For overclocking, this is compatible with XMP 2.0 with DDR4 and XMP 3.0 with DDR5. The DDR5 and DDR4 are also available in AMD versions that are AMD EXPO compatible for overclocking on AMD builds.

Warranty: as for a warranty well it’s a limited lifetime warranty.
